I did this prelim sketch of the House of Seven Gables shortly after the return of my trip visiting Salem Massachusetts. It was one of the last places I visited before leveing. The impact of the architecture in Salem had quite a big effect on me. It had been quite some years since my last visit to Salem. These houses sure felt like they had stories to tell
